I am currently a Professor of Orthopaedics and Neurosurgery, Chief of the Division of Spine Surgery, and Director of the Spine Fellowship Program at the University of Maryland School of Medicine. Within these roles, I oversee spine surgery for the University of Maryland Medical System. From a clinical care, educational, and research perspective, I have devoted my entire career towards delivering safe, ethical and evidenced based care for patients with spinal disorders. As an academic spine surgeon, I educate medical students, residents, fellows and attending level spine surgeons.
