Johns Hopkins Hospital
My name is Jawad Khalifeh. I am a neurosurgery resident at the Johns Hopkins Hospital. I am currently in my PGY-5 elective year, and pursuing an enfolded fellowship in peripheral nerve neurosurgery, while also carrying out translational research investigating the immune response following traumatic spinal cord injury. My clinical interests are in spine and peripheral nerve surgery. I will plan to pursue an enfolded, followed by an external fellowship in spine surgery. At the DSPN 2025, I will be presenting our research work on surgical outcomes following surgical resection for spinal chondrosarcoma, as well as the use of carbon fiber instrumentation in spinal oncology.
