    Puya Alikhani, MD, FAANS

    Dr. Alikhani is a board-certified neurosurgeon who specializes in minimally invasive spine surgery for treatment of complex spinal disorders including
    scoliosis, trauma, fractures, tumor, neck, back and leg pain and degenerative spinal pathologies.

    He operates on challenging cases such as degenerative scoliosis, adolescent idiopathic scoliosis, flat back deformity, chin on chest syndrome, complex cervical, and revision surgeries. He also manages patients with spinal cord tumors as well as peripheral nerve disease such as carpal tunnel syndrome and ulnar nerve entrapment.

    Dr. Alikhani works with a well-trained multidisciplinary team which includes nurse practitioners, physical therapists and pain management physicians to help deliver the best care for his patients.

    Having published several papers on minimally invasive approaches to spine surgery, Dr. Alikhani has a strong passion for teaching and is constantly involved with multiple research projects. He also lectures on spinal disorders both domestically and internationally.
