NO PAIN: Improved Management of Postsurgical Pain While Minimizing Financial Barriers

NOPAIN went into effect on January 1st, 2025, allowing reimbursement for opioid alternatives such as EXPAREL® in the HOPD and ASC setting. A crucial shift in healthcare policy, this legislation encourages healthcare providers to adopt non-opioid pain management strategies by removing access barriers and seeks to improve patient outcomes and reduce the reliance on opioids for pain management after surgery.
