Jasmine Omair is a medical student at the University of Louisville School of Medicine in Kentucky with a strong research focus on neurosurgery, neurotrauma, and cerebrovascular disorders. Her primary research interests include Traumatic Brain Injury, Spinal Cord Injury, and intracranial aneurysms, with an emphasis on neurological recovery, neuroprotection, and optimizing patient outcomes in neurosurgical care.
She is an active participant in the Stroke Thrombectomy and Aneurysm Registry (STAR) Project, a multicenter initiative dedicated to improving aneurysm detection, treatment strategies, and long-term patient outcomes.
Her research has been presented at the Congress of Neurological Surgeons Annual Meeting, the American Epilepsy Society Annual Meeting, Research!Louisville, the Nordic Management Conference, and the American Chemical Society National Conference.
Prior to medical school, Jasmine earned an MBA from the Estonian Business School and a B.S. in Biochemistry from Drury University in Missouri.
