Lucas Garmo is from Farmington Hills, Michigan. He received a bachelor's degree in psychology from Wayne State University in 2019 and matriculated at Central Michigan University's College of Medicine in 2021. He is also currently pursuing a doctoral degree in neuroscience with a specific research interest in the optimization of treatments for neuroinflammatory conditions. His dissertation work involves the delivery of various anti-inflammatory treatments utilizing rodent models of spinal cord injury.
