Postdoctoral research Fellow and Data Scientist in the Department of Neurological Surgery at the University of Wisconsin–Madison, and a former Neurosurgery Resident in Egypt.
My research focuses on improving neurological outcomes, functional recovery, and quality of life for patients undergoing neurosurgical treatment. I aim to identify pre- and post-operative variables associated with inpatient morbidity to enhance patient safety and optimize the efficacy and cost-effectiveness of treatment strategies.
To achieve these goals, I utilize retrospective databases and prospective registries, applying advanced statistical modeling to investigate predictors of hospital-based morbidity and healthcare costs. I also analyze long-term patient-reported outcomes to assess the comparative effectiveness and cost-utility of surgical interventions.
I am currently pursuing a Master of Public Health (MPH) at the University of Wisconsin–Madison, integrating clinical insight with data analytics to explore healthcare trends, disparities, and treatment outcomes.
