Benjamin Varieur, BS is a second year medical student at Loyola University Chicago Stritch School of Medicine and a clinical research assistant in Orthopaedic Spine at Massachusetts General Hospital. Benjamin is actively involved in several research projects spanning the orthopaedic subspecialties of joint arthroplasty, sports medicine, and with the most significant involvement in spine surgery. He is passionate for performing clinical research to improve the quality and value of care offered to patients in hopes of improving their quality of life. This is accomplished through his keen interests in studying patient-reported outcomes, adult spinal deformity, and academic medicine. Benjamin's research accumen and orthopaedic knowledge continue to grow as he approaches the clinical years of medical school with his eyes set on successfully matching into an orthopaedic residency.
