Amanda Gabro is a dedicated student and researcher in the field of chiropractic medicine, currently pursuing her doctorate at the National University of Health Sciences, with an anticipated graduation date of December 2025. Amanda holds a bachelor’s degree in Biomedical and Environmental Sciences, which laid the foundation for her commitment to exploring innovative healthcare solutions.
Amanda's personal journey with multiple sclerosis (MS) has significantly influenced her career path. After enduring 15 years of misdiagnosis and the consequent challenges posed by the disease, including optic neuritis, Jacksonian seizures, memory loss, neurological deficits in both upper and lower extremities, loss of fine motor skills, and stuttering, Amanda embarked on a remarkable journey toward recovery. Through natural treatments and alternative therapies, she achieved complete recovery from these debilitating symptoms.
Motivated by her own experiences, Amanda has become an active participant in the research community, striving to deepen the understanding of MS and its diverse impacts. Her resilience and insights have driven her to present multiple poster boards at prestigious platforms such as the DC Rehab Symposium, Elite Master Minds, and Sports Symposium. Through these presentations, Amanda has shared her findings and emphasized the potential of natural therapies in treating MS.
Amanda is fervently engaged in ongoing research, inspired by her MS journey, to unearth new answers and innovative approaches to chiropractic care and neurology.
