Taha Taka is a second year Orthopedic Surgery Resident at Loma Linda university, California. Has been involved in several spine research projects focusing on post-operative outcomes, predictive machine learning algorithms, and new articial intelligence models and their ability to supplement clinical decision making.

Taha Taka grew up in Baghdad, Iraq until the age of 10, when he traveled to the U.S. as a refugee. He went to undergraduate university at Universoty of California - San Diego. He later attended medical school at University of California, Riverside. And is currently nearly mid-way through his his residency at Loma Linda university for Orthopedic Surgery with hopes of pursuing spine surgery fellowship.
