Chibuikem A. Ikwuegubenyi, MD

Dr. Chibuikem Anthony Ikwuegbuenyi is currently a research fellow at the Department of Neurosurgery at Weill Cornell Medicine. He is a former International Elective Fellow at the Muhimbili Orthopedic Institute, which is a neurosurgical referral center located in East Africa. Dr. Ikwuegbuenyi received his medical degree from the University of Lagos in Nigeria and specializes in global neurosurgery and minimally invasive spine surgery research. He is passionate about improving neurosurgical care in Africa.

At the upcoming conference, Dr. Ikwuegbuenyi will present various projects related to Minimally Invasive Spine Surgery including ensuring safety, complication management, expandable technology and degenerative lumbar scoliosis. He is excited to interact with other experts in the field to enhance his understanding and treatment of various spine pathologies. Dr. Ikwuegbuenyi is also open to learning from his peers.
