Kehinde Alare Is a recently qualified medical doctor from Ladoke Akintola University of Technology, Ogbomoso, Nigeria. He's passionate about stroke care and research; who likes to contribute his quota to improving care of cerebrovascular vascular diseases in Africa and also interested in pursuing a career in cerebrovascular neurosurgery.
Kehinde also has in research; he got involved in some research projects during is undergraduate days leading several publications in different peer-reviewed medical journals. His also part of the research collaborators of the United Kingdom National Institute of Health Care and Research (NIHR) GLOBAL Health Research Group on Acquired Brain and Spine Injury, University of Cambridge. His research interests focuses on cerebrovascular diseases, neurological diseases, frailty in neurosurgery and others.
Kehinde showed great leadership skills as he previously served in different positions notably are Editor-in-chief Ladoke Akintola University Medical Journal Club, Deputy Director Media and Communicatilions of Nigerian Medical Students Association, International Representative of American Physician-Scientists Association, Ambassador of BrainBook amongst others.
Kehinde belongs to several professionals bodies including Congress of Neurological Surgeons, America College of Cardiologists, American Association of Neurologists, European Association for Neurology, America Physician-Scientists Association, Alzheimer's Association. Kehinde is a recipient of Carl Storm International Diversity Award of Gordon's Research Conference among others, he recently join Bowers Neurosurgical Frailty and Outcomes Data Science Lab of University of Texas.
Outside medicine, Kehinde is a backend developer, Php enthusiast and a low-key tech guy
