My name is Erin L. Brown; I am currently a third-year medical student at Tulane University School of Medicine in New Orleans LA. I have a strong interest in orthopaedic surgery and spine research. My work focuses on gender disparities in orthopaedic surgery, diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI), and the reporting of demographic variables in clinical trials. I have contributed to research on outcomes in spine surgery, including posterior spinal fusion (PSF) for Adolescent Idiopathic Scoliosis (AIS) and look forward to learning about new innovations in the field.
