Josh is a second-year medical student at Duke University School of Medicine, under the mentorship of Dr. C. Rory Goodwin and Dr. Melissa Erickson. His research interests are related to spine oncology and he is especially interested in investigating interventions to reduce emotional and overall distress in patients with metastatic spine disease. Prior to attending Duke, Josh graduate from Johns Hopkins University in 2022, where he studied Public Health Studies and Economics. After graduating, Josh spent one year working with the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health as a Research Associate, focused on global health and disparities in access to medicine.
