Maya Brinster is a fourth-year undergraduate student at Northeastern University interested in pursuing a career in neurosurgery. She has previous biomedical research experience, having worked full-time as an in vitro research assistant at a gene therapy pharmaceutical company. Currently, she is a clinical research intern at the Massachusetts General Paralysis Center, where she contributes to studies investigating mechanisms to improve peripheral neurosurgical recovery outcomes for paralysis patients.
