Fourth-Year Medical Student
Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine
Monica Misch is a fourth-year medical student from the Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine (CCOM). As a former cheerleader for Indiana University and the U.S. National Team, it's no surprise that Monica thrives in positivity and progress. Her ambitions to pursue a surgical specialty and strive for favorable patient outcomes led her straight to her future teammates in orthopedics. Her current research interests are centered around the utility of artificial intelligence in diagnostic imaging. Under the guidance of her research mentor, neurosurgeon Dr. Sunil Manjila MD, they found an intersection between orthopedics and the nervous system in the topic of carpal tunnel syndrome. She is delighted and honored to represent their work at her first Spine Summit!
