William Rabon, B.S. joined the University of Pittsburgh Department of Neurological Surgery as a Researcher in July of 2024. He is very interested in advancing patient surgical outcomes through innovative technologies, therapies, and medical education. He is currently working with a team to design novel fusion implants as well as provide improved education to patients and operating room staff through the use of patient-specific 3D spinal models. His research interests include Spine, Neurotrauma, Medical Education, and Global Neurosurgery. William graduated with a degree in Neuroscience from Carnegie Mellon University in 2024 where he was also the captain of the Men's Soccer Team and plans to pursue Medical School. Beyond medicine, William enjoys staying active through playing soccer, running, and weightlifting. He also enjoys spending time with family playing board games and hiking, and often spends his free time fly-fishing.
