Nathan D. Schilaty, DC, PhD, is an Associate Professor in the Department of Neurosurgery and Medical Engineering at the University of South Florida. He is the Principal Investigator of the Neuromusculoskeltal Biomechanics and Chiropractic (NeuBaC) Laboratory. His research is focused on neuromusculoskeletal disorders, specifically investigating the neural control of movement and musculoskeletal function in health and disease. Dr. Schilaty’s work combines biomechanics, neural engineering, and rehabilitation to develop novel therapeutic strategies for patients with musculoskeletal injuries and neurological conditions. He has published extensively in his field, with a focus on understanding the neural and biomechanical mechanisms underlying motor dysfunction, as well as exploring new technologies for improving clinical outcomes in neuromusculoskeletal rehabilitation. Dr. Schilaty is dedicated to advancing both the scientific understanding of neuromusculoskeletal interactions and the translation of this knowledge into effective clinical applications.
