Dr. Murphy is a board-certified neurosurgeon and associate professor at Barrow Neurological Institute, specializing in complex cranial and spinal surgeries. As a leading researcher in cervical spinal cord injury, Dr. Murphy is at the forefront of innovative treatments that could potentially improve the quality of life for people with severe spinal cord injuries. He’s currently an investigator for Elon Musks Neuralink’s groundbreaking PRIME Study, which recently achieved a significant milestone in brain-computer interface technology.
Dr Murphy has received numerous prizes from American Academy of Neurosurgery/ Congress of Neurosurgery and published in Nature, Neurosurgery, Spine and The Journal of Neurosurgery. Dr. Murphy and his team are participating in a number of international trials ensuring that patients have access to the most up-to date and proven treatments.
