Josh Trbovich, MPAS, PA-C, is the Allegheny Health Network Neuroscience APP Officer and a Surgical Physician Assistant Supervisor. He earned a Biology degree from St. Vincent College (2007) and a Master's in Physician Assistant Studies from Chatham University (2009). Nationally board-certified by the NCCPA, he began his career in emergency medical services with Robinson EMS. After PA school, he worked in Internal Medicine and Occupational Medicine before joining the Neurosurgery department, where he's worked the longest and developed a strong passion for the field and his colleagues.
In September 2021, he transitioned into APP leadership as a supervisor, and more recently, was appointed Neuroscience APP Officer. Prior to his higher education, he worked full-time in emergency medical services. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his wife Samantha and their three children, Georgiana, Emilia, and Oliver, in southern Pittsburgh. His hobbies include golfing and outdoor activities.
