Dr. Fayyadh Yusuf is an Associate Dean of Faculty Affairs, the Chief Culture Officer for the NeuroScience Institute and Interim Assistant Vice President of Human Resources for the University of South Florida Health. He completed his graduate studies at the University of Virginia with a focus on Sport Psychology (M.Ed.) and Leadership & Evaluation (Ph.D.). Upon graduating, he began consulting across numerous industries including college & professional sports, business, and education. In 2015, Dr. Yusuf conducted a pilot program for the Department of Neurosurgery at USF Health. The goal was to determine whether performance coaching could benefit physician training similar to athletes, coaches and CEOs. The success of the program led to a full-time faculty appointment and subsequent leadership roles throughout the medical school. When not attending to his academic duties, Dr. Yusuf continues to advise, coach and mentor private clients nationally.
